You would’ve laughed at me today. I got caught in the rain halfway to campus, and my umbrella decided to collapse in protest. I looked like a drowned paper crane by the time I got to a cover.
On the bright side, the puddles were doing that mirror trick again. I stood still long enough to watch clouds drift through the cracks between buildings. It felt like something you’d write a paragraph about.
There’s a new sculpture in the quad. It’s abstract. I couldn’t tell if it was beautiful or just expensive. Angie said it reminded them of “a memory trying to untangle itself.” I told them that sounded like something you’d say. They didn’t disagree.
Anyway, I got the napkins from that Thai place, as you requested. I'll bring them to the bridge during lunch xD
Hope you’re staying dry and writing something unnecessarily poetic, love.
