The rooftop ones are incredible. We were passing the camera around, and I can’t think of anything more worth the name of living in the moment. The photo of you and her sitting by the fence, legs dangling, looked really pretty. That’s my only adjective, you will understand when you see it hahaha.
And I’m looking at this one where we were in the tunnel running. We were all in motion, and as you can expect, it came out blurry. Shadows stretching behind us like how cinema would portray the speed of light.
Then there’s the one where it’s just her and Caleb, backs to the window, staring at the city. I was really tempted to eavesdrop, but let the people live their lives, am I right.
Caleb made it into the stairwell shot, barely. You can see his hand in the corner, holding that cheap wine. And you were giving me the peace sign. The timestamp on this one says 2:34 a.m. It was a wicked time. We were talking about nothing, and then everything. Then you dropped a grape down the stairs, and we all laughed so hard.
Most of them do look really grainy and underexposed hahaha. Especially the one with the cigarettes and the crescent moon. But it makes my chest ache in the best way. Our hands are all reaching up like we’re offering to the moon.
I don’t know. These photos feel like proof that the night HAPPENED.
Anyway, I printed extras. I’ll give them to you all when we meet tonight.
