Silver, a hue of shining light,

A symbol of second place, without a fight.

A color of elegance, yet not quite the best,

A reflection of "almost" in every quest.

A nod to greatness, but someone else's glow.

In jewelry, it shines with sophisticated grace,

But lacks the flash of gold's triumphant face.
