你聽過太陽追月的神話故事嗎？

故事裡的太陽是一位外表醜陋的神明，所以他很害怕地上的人看到他的真面目，於是他總拿著一束炙熱又金光閃閃的針。只要誰敢偷看他的模樣，他便會拿針扎那些人的眼睛。 月亮則是一位長相漂亮的神明，為了時時保持自己的美麗，她總是拿著一把剃刀，不停地修剪自己的眉毛與頭髮。如果有人敢對著她的美貌指指點點，她便會拿著這把剃刀去割對方的耳朵。

長大後，我試著用科學的角度去思考這個故事的由來。

太陽追月的故事是來自古時候人們對白天黑夜的神靈信仰。

太陽會拿針扎眼，是因為刺眼的陽光會對眼睛造成傷害。

但月亮會割耳朵呢？究竟是什麼原因才會出現這樣的說法？

直到這天……直到這天……我才知道……為什麼……

不能用手指月亮。
