"Yeah," the black, red and gold kwami flew round the room, smiling brightly to herself.
"Cool," Akane mumbled, tracing her fingers over her new bracelet, "so what kind of powers do you give me?"
"Anything a wolf can do," Guenhyvar told her, "and your weapon is a greatsword which was forged by your legendary ancestor — Eruien Levine. It has the power of fire, which makes it literally unbeatable, even water is no match against it. You have seven forms, one more powerful than the next, though all used for different purposes. Though at the moment you can't use them. The first is for stealth, the second for strength, third for endurance, fourth for intelligence, fifth for dexterity, sixth for magic, and the last..."
"The last?" Akane pressed.
Guen's eyes hardened, "For sacrifice and resurrection. This is why the miraculous of the wolf is one of the two most dangerous miraculouses in the entire world — it was made by an elf, not humans nor like the other miraculouses. She is also the one who forged the greatsword and halberd, the legendary elf who saved the world. Her contrasting miraculous, made by Aryth Ryu, has the power of ice. Their families were literal enemies, but they both knew deep in their heart that being enemies won't sustain for long, so they created the Wolf Demon miraculous by combining both their miraculouses into one as to form unity between the clans. And that formed a new element - Icefire. You are the last reincarnation of Eruien, which is why you have so many talents. You have to find the reincarnation of Aryth, then your powers will combine, then the Wolf Demon miraculous will be awakened."
"I'm... amazed," Akane said, though she didn't smile, "I can't believe that I'm an elf... not a human..."
Guen's ears suddenly picked up something, and a smile spread across her face, "Now's your time to shine, Akane. Just say 'Guen, time for the kill!'"
Akane blew out a breath, "Guen, time for the kill."
In a bright red flash, Akane found herself covered in a skin tight red, black and gold suit, a beautiful black greatsword at her back. Her black eyes had turned red on the left and blue on the right, which looked amazing. She had wolf ears and a tail, claws, and fangs. Her black hair became red at the tips, and was tied into a high ponytail. She stared at her reflection in the mirror, jaw wide open.
"Tsugoi..." She whispered, eyes wide.
Akane grabbed her greatsword and spun it in her hand, eyes shining in delight. She jumped out the window and immediately smelt the smell of fighting, then jumped all the way there. She then realised that she could jump really high unlike before, and felt amazed with herself.
When she reached the fighting scene, she saw an evil-looking man dancing and flying round with a whip in hand, probably some crazy guy. Ladybug and Chat Noir seemed to be struggling to defeat him, and were panting heavily. Akane studied the man, watching his every move. After doing so, she whipped out her halberd instinctively along with her new greatsword and pounced onto the man without a sound, hooking onto the man's clothes with her halberd and slamming him onto the ground with the greatsword.
"How weak," Akane muttered, knocking the man out.
Ladybug and Chat Noir gaped at her in shock, utterly surprised. Akane spun both the halberd and greatsword in her hands, walking towards Ladybug and Chat Noir.
The teens got ready to fight her, but Akane stopped right in front of them as she turned her halberd back into an earring.
"Konichiwa," Akane said, holding out her hand, "the name's Ryu, nice to meet ya."
Ladybug was the first to realise this, and she stared at her in shock before shaking her hand, "Oh, er, nice to meet you."
Akane smiled and turned to Chat Noir, who suddenly went bright red. He smiled slyly and shook hands with her, "Nice to meet you, Ryu. What's your miraculous?"
"Wolf," Akane said in a calm tone, "said to be the most powerful miraculous in the world, paired with the demon miraculous. Ask your kwamis if you don't believe me."
"Whoah, you have the most powerful miraculous in the world?!" Chat exclaimed, eyes wide.
"Yeah, I guess," Akane said, though her eyes turned serious, "I'm the only miraculous holder who can kill without any powers."
"There is no way..." Ladybug whispered, "is that true?"
"Ask your kwamis," Akane told them, "and do I need to decapitate the villain to tell you to deakumatize him?"
Ladybug looked at her in surprise, then realised and smiled, "Thanks, Ryu."
Akane nodded and waved, "Sayonara, I gotta go."
She ran back to her house. Little did she know... Chat was blushing — like mad.

"Plagg..." Adrien mumbled, closing his eyes, "is what Ryu said true?"
"No, its not," Plagg said in an irritable tone, then when Adrien stared at him in shock he went mad, "of course it is you idiot! Ryu's family bloodline is of royalty, and they are the ones who created and refined that miraculous! The greatsword and halberd she used were forged by her most famous ancestor, Eruien Levine! They are elves who have conquered and saved this entire world, they know everything!"
"Okay, okay, take a chill pill, will you?" Adrien grumbled, leaning to one side, "you've been like that all night!"
"Shut up and go to sleep, you have school tomorrow," Plagg snapped at him, eyes flashing.
"Yes sir."
"Don't call me that!"
"Okay, okay."

Akane pulled on a pair of baggy jeans and a black top with a black jacket over, putting on her black gloves and mask. She grabbed her bag and Guen sat on her shoulder, smiling at her.
"Ready?" Guen asked.
"Yeah, I think so..."
"One, two, three!"
In a bright flash, Akane was outside her new school. She was quite disappointed by how small her school was, all the other schools she had seen were much bigger than this one. She walked up the stairs and into the school, looking around. Akane saw students chatting merrily in groups or pairs, joking around and making fun of each other.
Biting her lip, Akane slowly treaded in, keeping an eye out for anything suspicious. She sat down at an empty bench and started to read, resting one leg on the other.
"Hey, are you Akane?"
Akane looked up to see a short girl with striking dark blue hair and large bluebell eyes come up to her, a smile on her face.
"Yeah... so?" Akane asked, eyes narrowing.
"I'm Marinette! Nice to meet you!" she said with a smile, "who knew that a famous singer like you would come to a school like this! I love your singing! And your songs—"
"I have no original songs," Akane interrupted, "they are all from my favourite singers. I give them all the credit."
"Wow, most singers would just pretend that they own the songs," Marinette said, "I'm surprised."
"Not surprising, given that most people are," Akane replied, "anyway, I'm a new transfer student, could you show me to my class?"
"Sure!" Marinette said, "I'll introduce you to some of my friends too!"
Akane stood up and dusted her pants, then followed Marinette up the stairs and to wherever the class was. They met a girl with auburn hair and black glasses along the way who seemed to be Marinette's best friend.
"O.M.G!!!!!" she exclaimed when she saw Akane, "I'm such a big fan of you! Your singing's absolutely AMAZING!"
"Akane, meet Alya," Marinette said, "she's my best friend."
"Figures," Akane mumbled, turning away as Alya whipped out her phone.
"Hi to everyone who follows my Ladyblog! Today we won't be talking about Ladybug, but of the absolutely amazing singer who has come to my school — Akane Takahashi!" Alya exclaimed, starting to film Akane, "Tell us — when did you come to Paris? Did Ladybug and Chat Noir really take a selfie with you?!"
Akane started to feel uneasy, then glanced at Marinette for help, but with no response she broke into a run.
A firm hand stopped her.
"Alya, could you stop filming? It's obvious that she's feeling uncomfortable," a familiar voice said.
Chat Noir?
Akane turned around to see, not Chat Noir, but a blonde boy with green eyes similar to him standing there, looking concerned. Her jaw dropped.
Adrien Agreste?
In this school?
"Okay, okay," Alya said jokingly, putting her phone away. Akane heaved a sigh and shook Adrien's hand off her shoulder, glancing at Marinette.
"Mari, where's the classroom?"
Marinette seemed too stunned to speak, her face as red as a tomato. Akane followed her gaze, then realised that she was staring at Adrien. Smirking, she leaned towards Marinette and whispered in her ear.
"Got a crush, huh?"
Marinette jerked clumsily away from her and laughed awkwardly, then dragged her to the class, leaving Adrien and Alya staring after them. Akane then noticed that Adrien was staring at her, but shook it off thinking that it was just a crush on her like every other boy she had met.
