重明鳥是一種祥獸，形如雞，聲如鳳，有闢災祛邪之能，在一些民間習俗裡，新年時會以木刻、銅鑄或剪紙成雞形，掛於門窗上以驅邪避凶。

這裡偷吃步將上聯看作倒裝，先因「龍鳳慶」而後「東風勁鳴」，對下聯先「重明迎」故「冷鏡通映」。

整句每字都同韻，平仄還要工整，句意還需有所關聯，實在太難了……只好放棄平仄T_T
