不確定原著有沒有這樣的設定，不過《巫姬》裡的派克是有養母的，也就是派克口裡的媽媽。
這位養母是一位修女，在流星街時負責教堂的清潔，出於善心常常照顧附近的孩童，之後更是收養了幾個孩子，這些孩子裡面就有派克。
再之後，這位修女調去了靠近流星街的一個小鎮，在鎮上孤兒院任職，成年的派克會定期去探望她。
