I would have Chief and the weapon run into Red team from Spirit of fire, Chief ends up joining the Spirit of Fire crew after the weapon’s AI chip falls out of his head during a battle with a brute, and she gets stomped on.
Then, they run into The Arbiter, Red team tries to kill him, but Chief stops them. You’re playing as Jerome most of the game and it’s like, Chief is a side character. They lose, and have to run so they evacuate Zeta Halo and once everyone’s aboard the Spirit Of Fire, they run to Reach where they land where Pillar Of Autumn took off when leaving Reach.
They quickly disperse all the crew as they were followed by a few ships, and they run and just keep on running, when they get to a good spot for a base, they start building while Captain Cutter and the crew for the ship run back to the Spirit of Fire with Chief and Jerome (You play as Chief) and you have to stay with them as they run, if you get too far ahead or fall back too far, you fail.
When you’re playing as Jerome, you’re in charge of the soldiers. If you play as Master Chief, Jerome commands you, but you’re second in command. If you play as Captain Cutter, you have a pistol and command everyone, but you see less action. When you get back to the ship, you see a figure out there in the distance.
Once you get close enough, a cutscene shows Jerome and Chief slow down, and tell Captain Cutter to follow behind them. Once they get to him, he turns around and he’s wearing the armor of Jun. He turned around, and it WAS Jun.
Jun comes with you and helps, but he later dies from Atriox. Cutter starts scavenging and you can start to explore a little. Later in the game when you get back, the base is under attack and half way done.
Jerome goes with Red team and Chief goes with Arbiter and his fellow elites. (4 elites and a few grunts)
depending on who you go with, you’ll encounter Atriox fist if your with Chief, and Jerome will see Atriox and you fighting, and go to help with Red team.
You don’t kill him, but manage to scare off him and his forces. Although Chief is injured with a fractured shoulder and broken leg, so you play as Jerome or Cutter but if your Jerome, you end up encountering about 100 enemies with Arbiter and his remaining soldiers stuck in a trench.
So there’s then a cutscene of Jerome putting down his gun and putting his hands up, but he then runs and jump over a destroyed warthog, landing behind one brute, he takes out his knife and stabs the back of its neck and he then, still holding the knife in the brutes back of its neck throws it at two other brutes beside each other using the knife and then it shows everyone in the trench start fighting through the enemies, and then cutscene shows them hop into two warthogs and start driving.
The cutscene ends with you playing as Jerome, first person driving the warthog with red team in it, and you have to actually try to drive it. A few times, an enemy will jump onto the warthog and you punch or push them off.
By the time you get back to the base, it’s completely built, but no one is there. It shows a shot cutscene of Jerome hopping out and noticing that there’s now only a few brutes left, so he and the rest kill them and start investigating where everyone is.
It then shows a lot of the crew in the base dead, they find traces of flood and find Captain Cutter around a corner.
The game ends with a cutscene of Jerome and Chief asking what happened, and Captain Cutter answered with:
“They’re..back.” Answers Cutter.
“WHO?” Asked Jerome.
“The…flood.” answers Cutter, and then the game ends.
Honestly, I think this would be a pretty good next game.
