Master Chief and Kelly were on a mission with a LOT of Marines and ODSTs, but what was about to happen, they had NO clue. Every Marine there, was about to soon, die.
Kelly ran over to Chief, who was right in the center of the huge army of marines and ODST’s.
“Be careful.” Said Kelly.
“I know” said Chief. “Now, go!”
Kelly lovingly rubbed the front of her helmet against his and ran off.
“See you on the other side!” Kelly yelled, little did she know, that will be the LAST time for a while that she ever see’s him.
As the battle began, Chief ran through the ODST’s and Marines and once he got to the front, he started killing grunts left and right.
“On our 6!” Yelled an ODST.
A giant elite, roughly 8’9, was with a few brutes. They attacked from the side, planning to surprise them. Chief looked and ran, but as he got there he saw the size and realized just how big. Then, there was a HUGE stomp noise.
Meanwhile, Kelly, Fred, and Linda were moving through behind enemy lines, Kelly was the leader during their mission, but when they got back from their mission, they didn’t see any Spartans, ODSTs, or Marines, alive.
“What the hell happened here?” Asked Kelly, worried.
“I don’t know, but they sure as hell did a NUMBER on the enemies.” Said Fred.
“Damn, this was a slaughterhouse.” Said Linda.
As they walked through the battle field, they started to see more and more Elites, Brutes, grunts, jackals, wraiths, scorpions, Marines, and ODSTs dead.
“What is this?” Asked Linda as she got onto one knee and looked at the giant footprint of…SOMETHING.
“What is it, Linda?” Asked Fred.
“This giant footprint.” Linda quickly Answered.
“What could’ve made a footprint THIS BIG?” Asked Kelly, surprised.
“I don’t know, but whatever it was, that’s probably what caused all those deaths.” Replied Fred.
As they continued walking, they started to see ODST and Spartan footprints.
“Huh. Seems like the Chief and a few ODSTs got away.” Said Linda.
“There’s one, over there!” Exclaimed Fred in surprise.
They then ran to the ODST, slumped up against the tree and Kelly kneeled down in front of him.
“What happened?” Asked Kelly.
The ODST coughed a little and slowly looked up.
“Spartans?” Asked the ODST.
“Yeah. Blue team.” Replied Fred.
“What the hell happened here?” Asked Kelly.
“A giant..*cough,cough* foot…*wheezes* came in out..of no where and…*cough,cough,wheeze* started..killing everything in…it’s…it’s path.” The ODST managed to squeeze out.
“Where’s the Spartan?” Asked Linda.
“The..Spartan?” Asked the ODST.
“He ran off with the rest of the survivors, into the forest..*coughs up a bit of blood in his helmet*” Answered the ODST.
“Why?” Asked the ODST.
“We’re looking for him.” Said Kelly as Fred took off the ODSTs helmet.
“He ran off with…*coughs up a little blood again* a few ODSTs and a couple Marines.” He replied, struggling to breathe.
“What happened to YOU?” Asked Fred.
“I got shot by a jackal sniper right before it got crushed by the giant thing.” He said as he closed his eyes slowly, dead.
