吳有張公，公顏陋，兩齒前露，額形凹凸，雙目不齊，因人咸孤之也。

六月吳水暴，有童落江，近幾斃，張捨己投江拯童，然不幸公無回矣！夫天下善人為何不壽耶？為何不幸耶？事信出，吳人皆驚之，人曰：「張公彼樣如，孰知之善，直所曰人不可貌相也！」因立張先生像傍江岸，以表之英風。
