What if?

The world was better

What if?

I was sent a letter

Telling me it'd all get better

What if?

There was a time;

No one could make up a rhyme

What if?

She doesn't move back;

And leaves us behind

What if?

I was brave enough to be heard

Even if it was only just a word

What if ?

I didn't do as I was told

And live my life as I want to be bold

What if?

The world was a simpler place where we could wander and roam

like a fairy tale, only unknown?

What if?

We lived like the world was on fire?

What if?

We loved like hearts don't break

What if?

There wasn't an if in life

an over in lover

a lie in believe

or an end in friend

What if?

Humanity had more wisdom to stop the wars

the killings

And just let us be free

to be you and me

What If?

We thought of the kids

And what they need?

Or the homeless to fulfill their needs

and not our greeds

What if?

There are a million things on my mind

but I just can't take up your time

What if?
