We talked for a while after that about random things and what we missed while being in the coma. I found out that he didn’t live too far from here. We also planned that he would come up here once I got released which wouldn’t be too much longer.

After talking to Luke again about Kenza coming also I was super excited for them to come. We had decided that we would wait for Kenza to get everything at Luke’s situated and then when I was out of the hospital they would come stay for a few days, maybe a week or two.

Right now I’m still in my hospital room watching some stupid movie on the tiny TV in the corner. I’m not really paying much attention to it so I have no clue what’s even happening.

It’s super boring in this hospital and I don’t understand why I can’t go home already, there’s obviously nothing wrong with me.

Just then there was a knock at the door. Who could that be? The doctor and nurse’s don’t knock and neither do my parents. “Come in.” I say, still wondering who it could be. In walked two boys who looked to be about my age. The first one is tall, taller than the other at least, with brownish shaggy hair. The other one is dressed like a jock, with bleach blonde hair. They both look like they could be players and really dumb. Although that’s what they look like I know that looks aren’t everything and that they could be super smart and have long term girlfriends.

Then the light bulb lights up in my head, these two boys are Peter and Will. My friends from before the coma. I had completely forgotten about them, I was too worried about my other friends that I forgot I had friends in real life.

After our laughter seized Will continued telling me about his life during my coma. “I have a girlfriend also, it’s been almost one year. I haven’t gotten my license yet, after watching what happened to you I’ve been too scared to even drive a car. Also I’m barely passing 10th grade.”

And I don’t blame you for not driving, I don’t think I’ll ever learn to drive after this, it’s gunna be a challenge to even get in a car without being scared for my life.” I say to them. “But wait, there’s more.” I say laughing and then when they don’t join in I continue on with what happened to me. “After that day we kinda fell apart, the three of us all went our separate ways. But then I became real good friends with these two girls and one guy. And it was just like I was living this life but then we all went to sleep one night and we all woke up in different hospitals from being in comas. And before you ask, yes they are real two of them are actually coming to see me sometime soon.”

For the rest of the day we just hung out and talked as friends do. We caught up on each others lives. I know knew them as if I had never been in a coma. I also told them all about my life in the coma. They were a bit shocked by Aviana having a baby but they were cool about it. Peter made me describe my other three friends in specific detail. He says Luke sounds cute and I just laughed. He made me tell him why I laughed and I said it was because I was sure there was something between Luke and Kenza. He laughed then and said “We’ll see about that.” Peter just laughed at us.

We made plans to hang out again soon and they gave me their numbers. I still don’t have a phone so I need to get one soon but for now I can use the hospital one in my room.
