Everybody loves animated movies. And everyone has their favorite. For some it's the Lion King, for others it's Beauty and Beast, and others think Frozen is the greatest animated movie ever made. However, my favorite animated movie of all time, hands down, is The Brave Little Toaster. I love The Brave Little Toaster because of the interesting concept, the cool and catchy songs, and for how dark it is for a kid's movie.8964 copyright protection360PENANAysFT6Ltg3R 維尼
The plot of the movie is walking talking appliances going on an adventure to find their master. Their master being a kid who (spoiler alert) is now actually about to go to college. The appliances being of course a toaster, a lamp, a radio, a blanket, and a vacuum. Every appliance in this universe seems to have the ability to talk, something that I don't think any other movie or TV show has done. The concept is pretty bizarre, but it's interesting. It really makes you wonder of what things they plan on doing with a world of talking appliances. What do they do with it? Well...I'll get to that in a bit.8964 copyright protection360PENANAHfBsmzA853 維尼
The songs in this movie are no masterpieces, but I love them. They're just so catchy and pretty sad and depressing for a kid's movie. The song "It's A B Movie" is being sung by a bunch of old broken-down appliances talking about their loss of hope, "Cutting Edge" being about newer advance appliances talking about great they are, and then there's my favorite, "Worthless." This sung is literally being song by a number of junkyard cars being smashed one by one. The lyrics are just so, SO depressing. The titles of the song should just speak for itself. This was a G-rated movie by the way. "The City Of Light" isn't as deep as the other songs, but it is still very catchy. I love all these songs and I'm not ashamed to admit that I'll listen to them on YouTube every so often.8964 copyright protection360PENANAsYh1a8IJ2s 維尼
What I love most about this movie is how dark it is for a G-rated children's film. Y'all though Toy Story 3 was dark? You ain't seen nothing yet. As I just said, this movie pretty much has a car death camp that actually shows cars getting smashed at a junkyard (imagine if they had put that in Cars), mutated and broken appliances singing about their loss of hope, a really creepy clown nightmare, a scene where the "Master" nearly gets smashed at the junkyard himself, a scene where an air conditioner explodes, a scene where a blender gets dissected, and so much more. The darkest scene, hands down, is this really depressing scene where we see a flower die more than likely from a broken heart. It's hard to describe in writing, you really have to see it to understand. I'm pretty sure I almost cried when I first saw that scene when I was a kid. It's just SO depressing. Bottom line, this movie is freaking dark and I really don't think it should've gotten away with a G-rating. Honestly, I think that clown scene would give little kids nightmares for a week.8964 copyright protection360PENANAZia87HAQ4i 維尼
The Brave Little Toaster is my favorite movie because of interesting idea, awesome songs, and being extremely dark for a kid's film. A title like The Brave Little Toaster may seem stupid and cheesy when you first hear it. But this is definitely not a movie you should judge by it's cover. It's one of the most underrated animated films of all time and is currently my favorite animated film of all time.8964 copyright protection360PENANAbx41aMlEL3 維尼
