Poem

With grass cushioning my back

I lie upon the ground,

With wind whipping my limbs,

I am oblivious and sound.

.

With the moon baring upon me,

I am comfortable and warm,

With the cricket's sound surrounding,

I am covered from the scorn.

.

With the bluest void above me,

I am saved by black embrace,

With the heavens still collapsing,

I am kept in saccharine grace.

.

With the world laid still beside me,

Never stiller than my heart,

With this moment real and rational,

Rediscovered, my hopes are.
