In the year 1200, the Chaos energy landed in the middle of Omnis and formed the land and a new age. About 20 years after the impact, the first "frames" were found in the impact hole. Mysterious little objects that can hold the energy in a stable way. Like moths flying towards the fire, some so-called "treasure hunters" immediately began to descend en masse into the hole and collect them from the chaos to sell them on dubious markets. By now, however, so many have been swallowed up by the chaos that Shamika and Screech are some of the few who still earn their money this way.
