After my phone charged, it made a lot of noise. Then, Peter used my phone to call both of my parent's cell phone numbers, but got nothing, so then Peter taught me how to call my father's work number.
"Hello," a male voice on the other line answered, "Prism Accounting, this is Marcus Xavier speaking."
"Hello, this is Constantine Blaine," I said, "Can I speak with my father?"
"Mr. Blaine's older son?" Marcus Xavier asked, "Just one second, I have to let him know you are on the line." Some weird music started playing and the stopped after a few minutes.
"Connie?" another male voice asked from the other line, "Why haven't you called earlier? We were waiting for you to call us." My mind told me that this was Constantine's father.
"I didn't realize that I had a phone," I said, "And besides, it was dead." Father sighed.167Please respect copyright.PENANAB1Yur9hjEO
"I guess it's hard not knowing if your phone was broken or not after your accident," Father said, "But I know for certain it was in your bag that you forgot at school when you got into the accident, because I was the one who unpacked it and then packed a different bag with it in there for your hospital stay. Wait, did you not look in your bag after you woke up?"
"I woke up with amnesia," I said, "For some reason, I don't remember machines, Alpha and Omega stuff, or the people around me. I had no idea what a cell phone was, let alone how to use it or maintain it." The Nekotama family gasped in unison. I had almost forgot that they were there, I moved the phone from my ear. "I'm sorry, but can you please be quiet? I need to make sure the situation is understood by both of us in order to move forward." I put the phone back to my ear. "I'm sorry, I have visitors that need to meet with both you and mother."
"I didn't realize that it was that bad," Father said, "We were planning on waiting until you scheduled a visit with us to go see you at the hospital, which is why we haven't gone to see you. We thought it would be best to wait until you were ready, because we know that you don't like being seen by anyone, other than doctors and nurses, when you're feeling weak." I wanted to call him a fool right there, but I knew that probably wasn't a good idea.
"I need you and mother to come here as soon as you can," I said, "Preferably in a few hours, but hopefully today."
"We need to find someone to watch your little brother, Jesse," Father said, "And my workday is ending in 30 minutes."
"You can bring him," I said.
"He's three years old," Father said.
"I don't have any illness that he can get sick from," I said. Father sighed.
"Okay," Father said, "I'll text your mother." Text?
"Okay, thank you, Father," I said. I heard some weird clicking noises.
"She said that she's in the area and will be there soon," Father said, "I'll probably get there in 45 minutes. I'll see you later then, Constantine."
"See you later, Father," I said. There was a weird noise, so I moved the phone from my ear to see that the phone no longer said 'Father' and had a bunch of different little pictures with words under them. "Peter, can you help me figure out this?" Peter moved next to me to see what I was talking about. I pointed at one that read 'messages'. "What's this?"
"That's where you get text messages," Peter said, "You click on it and see that you have messages from different people." Peter touched the picture and showed me the messages. "It looks like you have messages from your mom, dad, Charlotte, Jenny, Louis, and myself." I clicked on the first one that popped up, which was from Mother. "The messages you sent will be on the right side and the messages you get from the other person are on the other side." I read her messages, which were pretty much summarized into two groups, wanting to know about visiting me and cursing me out. I looked over at Peter, who looked a little disgusted at what he saw. Then, my phone made a noise and I noticed that I got another message from her, saying that she was entering the hospital. "You answer messages by clicking here and typing on the keyboard what you want to say. Then, you press this button to send the message." I typed 'alright' and sent it.
"Thanks, Peter," I said. Peter stepped back and I looked at my other messages. The ones from Father were pleasant, the ones from Charlotte were a little hostile, the ones from Jenny were sweet, the ones from Louis were a little confusing due to him using words I never heard before, and Peter's just told me that he was coming here today. I answered all of them as I deemed fit. Then, there was a knock on the door. "Come in." A woman, who looked very similar to how I looked as Ruby, red eyes and platinum blonde hair, but her hair was wavy, not straight like Ruby and she was definitely taller, because I was petite as Ruby and she was probably the height of Killian, who was over a head taller than me. The woman must be Constantine's Mother. I then noticed the small child running around her, a little redhead with green eyes who must be my little brother Jesse.167Please respect copyright.PENANAiNzM9uQmJ0
"Hello, Constantine," Mother said, "Who might these people be?"
"My name is Allyssa Nekotama," the light brown haired Mrs. Nekotama said, "This is my wife, Miki Nekotama and our son, Peter Nekotama."
"My name is Bethany Blaine, and this is my second son, Jesse Blaine," Mother said, "May I ask why we're meeting?"
"Peter is my bonded fated pair," I said, "So they're my in-laws." Mother looked like she was about to faint and then Jesse ran up to Peter, as if he was asking to be picked up.
"Up please," Jesse asked, "Want to see big bro." Peter picked him up and put him on my lap. "Big bro, Jesse missed you. You know, Mama said that big bro had booboos. Did the booboos go away?"
"Not all of them," I said. Jesse was rustling the blanket and found the pictures of the unborn twins.
"What's this?" Jesse asked as he looked at them.
"Come closer, Jesse," I said, "I want to whisper something in your ear." Jesse stood up and made sure that his ear was by my mouth. "They're babies." I whispered into his ear. Jesse made a surprised noise.
"Who's?" Jesse asked, "Who's babies?" It was loud enough for Mother to hear, who turned to look at me in shock. Only to try to calm herself down.
"I'm sorry, why are we talking about babies?" Mother asked. Jesse held out the pictures to show her.
"Babies," Jesse said. Mother took the pictures and looked at them.
"You have to be joking," Mother said, "How did this happen? I never heard about you having your heat yet and now not only are you marked, but you're pregnant with twins?"
"I have amnesia, so I have no idea," I said, "Ask Peter, he should know." Mother turned to Peter. I put my hands over Jesse's ears just in case.
"It was actually his third heat," Peter said, "But I'll tell you about that later. I had asked him out a few days before his first heat and he agreed to let me mark him during his heat, but only when we were much older. The third heat came way too soon and it was only the two of us in the room at the time, so we did it and I marked him, forgetting our promise. Then, a few hours later, a different Omega went into heat at school, so I went into a rut and I chased after Connie, who didn't wan to do it again, leading to him ignoring the crosswalk lights and getting hit by a truck that couldn't stop in time. I didn't know about the twins until today." Jesse started squirming, but I didn't let go of his ears.
"These are definitely your children, right?" Mother asked.167Please respect copyright.PENANAR4efXRdcz1
"He may be an Omega," Peter said, "But he wouldn't sleep with anyone other than his lover, AKA me." I finally let go of Jesse's ears and he growled at me.
"Why would you do such a thing, Big Bro?" Jesse asked, "So mean to Jesse."
"Wow, there's a lot of people in here," a redheaded man with green eyes said in a voice that sounded like Constantine's Father, "My name is Fredrick Blaine, I'm Constantine's Father. And you are?"
"I am Miki Nekotama," Peter's one mother said, "And this is my wife, Allyssa Nekotama, and our son, Peter Nekotama."
"Why are we meeting exactly?" Father asked.
"Peter and I are a bonded fated pair," I said.
"And they're having twins," Mother said angrily as she handed Father the pictures.
