Jesse went home with the Nekotama family that night and when I was discharged, I also went with Peter's Mama to their home as well. I was surprised to get in a horseless carriage, but it was still a hour and a half drive to their home. What I saw upon arrival was not what I expected at all, it was much smaller than my childhood mansion, but it was still three floors tall. The exterior was a bit odd to say the least as it was mostly covered in giant windows and had very little embellishments. I got out of the car using my cane, which was one that Peter's Moms bought me and it was pink with sparkles. Peter and his Mom greeted me when I opened the door.
"Congratulations on getting discharged!" Peter and his Mom said in unison.
"Thank you," I said.
"We hope that you'll feel at home here," Peter's Mom said, "Jesse tried his best to stay up to greet you when you got here, but he ended up falling asleep a few minutes ago. I'll bring him down when he wakes up, because the doctor said that your legs aren't steady enough yet to go on stairs."
"The doctor advised me that I didn't have to use a walker anymore," I said, "Though he did advise me to use a cane when going on stairs and uneven terrain." Peter showed me to most of the rooms on the first floor.
"I'll show you to the room you'll be using," Peter said as he grabbed my hand. He led to a room on the first floor that had a bathroom attached and a closet, much like my hospital room. The closet was filled with clothes that I didn't recognize, mainly weird shirts and pants. I forgot that I was a boy for a second I guess, because I was wondering where all the uncomfortable dresses were. I was always a bit of a tomboy, because I hated dresses and only Killian and Crown Prince Rueben knew about that.
"Are these mine?" I asked.
"Yes," Peter said, "But Mama suggested that you go out clothes shopping soon, because of your pregnancy. I suggest just getting bigger clothes and not maternity clothes, because male Omegas are still rare and the clothes might not fit you like you want them to."
"So, what are we going to do about these clothes?" I asked, "When I was young and outgrew my clothes, I would give them to a store that sold them for a discounted price for commoners, because we wouldn't get rid of them if we tried to just give them away and it gave me some pocket money to buy whatever I wanted to hide from the Duke. It also gave me a way to get rid of my old clothes without having to throw them out because they were barely worn. I always had way too many clothes, and even though I told my father that it wasn't a good idea, he always insisted that a Duke's daughter should have at least 200 dresses."
"So, you sold your old clothes to a thrift store?" Peter asked, "That's an amazing idea, but we'd have to find one. We're in Kelshi right now."
"Okay," I said, "I'll look that up later. I want to see Jesse."
"Sorry," Peter said, "I got really excited and wanted to show you your room. I'll check and see if Jesse is upstairs, but remember that the doctor said not to go up the stairs without help until your legs are no longer shaking." I watched as Peter ran out of the room, then I followed him slowly. I found Jesse and Peter's Mom in a room on the same floor my room was on, it reminded me of the salon that was at Ruby's family's mansion, but it had a TV in it and some weird things near it.
"Connie!" Jesse shouted when he noticed that I was in the room. He grabbed my pant leg and looked up at me with delight.
"Jesse, I'm home," I said, "Are you getting used to living here?" Jesse looked a little melancholy, but nodded.155Please respect copyright.PENANATzLic7nT1K
"Mommy and Daddy bad," Jesse said, "But Jesse's not sad no more. No more booboos or loud Mommy. Jus Good. Jesse is good and Peta is good and Mom is good and Mama is good. So big bro is good too?" I frowned, did he just say that he was being hurt by Mother? I looked over and noticed that Peter's Mom was on her phone.
"I guess I'm okay," I said. Jesse smiled.
"Don't worry, big bro," Jesse said, "Jesse's got dis. Jesse make big bro and babies happy. Peta will too. He good at it. Mom, Jesse has to go potty." Peter's Mom smiled and took Jesse into a bathroom upstairs. I used my cane to walk over to the stairs, just as Peter came down them. He smiled and gave me a kiss on the forehead, which was another thing that Rueben always did.
"I want to sleep with you," He whispered into my ear, sending shivers down my spine.
"You can't," I whispered back, "Unless you only sleep next to me and not what I think you meant." Peter pulled back and looked into my eyes.
"Connie, you really are perfect for me," Peter said. For a second I could've sworn he said Ruby instead of Connie. "I want to take a nap before dinner, can I sleep next to you in your room?" I frowned, what a weird way to say that you wanted a nap.
"Sure," I said. Peter and I walked into my room and I put my cane down before getting under the covers. Peter closed the door then got under the covers on the other side and started cuddling with me. He had me face him and kissed me passionately. My mind was going blank, but I somehow drifted off into sleep.
