vs. 1-8: So Esau took a wife from Ishmael? That's very interesting. We had a bit of parallelism here in the story as well. Esau and Jacob had to separate just like Abraham and Lot. Sometimes God separates people throu7gh blessings too. 

vs. 9-30: This is a lot of names for me. Its cool to note all the achievements listed through other lineages such as the hot springs discoverment. 

vs. 31-43: Kings before the kings of Israel. Maybe these where the countries the Israelites were looking at when they plead to God.
