The ruler of the world, Fate, made many enemies in his reign. The most powerful of which were the Alva, a band of demigods out for complete control. As Fate grew older, he knew he couldn't leave one successor, as they would surely be caught. So he left twins Tad and Bill as the first to carry on his legacy. His eldest, Sal, as the 'savior' if anything happened to her younger brothers. The three were dispersed to the far corners of the Earth. Only Fate could bring them together again.
