What defines a hero a hero? Is it that they try not to let the bad guys hurt people? Or is it because they are nice to people? I think, a hero is defined by his wills.
Why don’t you be a bad guy? Being a bad guy doesn’t mean you have to kill or set things on fire, just break a heart, easy as that. It is easier to live like that, to break a heart into pieces. Why do you choose to pick up the pieces and put it together again?
As a hero, you live a life where you can’t complain, can’t be mad and can’t be free. You have to do whatever they tell you to, because you shouldn’t complain; you have to live your life optimistically, because you should be happy all the time; you have to care about others, because that’s what a hero do.
At first, the news killed me. Murder every night, evils on the street of the night making it looks more terrifying… Until one day I woke up, I wasn’t surprised anymore. At that day, my heart weighted less.
Then it was people around me, friends or family or even girlfriends. I was supposed to be good and respectful to them, as I should, as I did. But they? I learned a little more after that, if you want people to truly respect you and like you, you have to treat the same way you want them to. These days I have two kids friends, they are my younger cousins, and they should be respectful to me. “Are they too young for that? Do they know what respect is? Do I have to teach them?” I keep asking myself. I tried to treat them like friends, answer their (stupid) questions, play games with them and spend more time with them.
