Ryan and Rainer lead their crew towards the two fighting battle droids, Supremeo and War Hawk. While on their way, Ryan explains to Zachary what happened between him and Rainer earlier.
The booming echoes of both battle droids fighting are making it nearly impossible for anyone to have a normal conversation. Luckily for Ryan and Zachary, they communicate through the comms in their helmet. After filling Zachary in on the details between Rainer and him. Zach says, "Wow so he almost came to blows between you and your brother? Victor always did call him a hothead." Ryan replies to Zach saying, "Yeah even he admits it. That's why, out of respect for Victor, he left our group and started conducting solo missions to stop any activity in the criminal underworld. The same respect he had for him that moved him away, also brought him back to us. I just hope we can prevent any more deaths from happening." Zachary tells Ryan, "Yeah on my way here I was informed of what happened when War Hawk and Amaro arrived. I'm sorry about that."
Before Zach can continue, Ryan and Zach witness a surprise attack on War Hawk. Rainer summons a group of revived golden dragon battle droids to charge towards War Hawk from every angle. The incoming battle droids shock War Hawk as he sees this.
Supremeo can hear Rainer screaming at him saying, "WHY AREN'T YOU FIGHTING TO YOUR FULL EXTENT ROBOT!? Isn't your purpose to protect humanity!? You know what the War Hawk has done! You know who he was before that! Do not let your artificial feelings that Elias gave you fool you. Your connection to human life is built in! Enough with the hesitation! Help us end this now!"
Deeply offended by these remarks Superemeo just ignores them. Rainer doesn't know that despite being given these feelings Supremeo appreciates them when all his being. Rainer also doesn't know under the War Hawk helmet. Victor is offended by these remarks as well because Supremeo is the living embodiment of Elias's human values.
War Hawk dodges all the droids. Then to Rainer's surprise, the battle droid launches all its bladed feathers off its back towards the revived golden dragons. The Bladed feathers slash and rip open every revived battle droid in their way. Normally War Hawk can fly when these bladed feathers form wings on its back, but Julius's final bomb blocks that ability.
Instead of forming wings, War Hawk summons the bladed feathers to form dual blades in its hands. Then unleashes the flames from the blades creating a burning bladed weapon. Next War Hawk attacks the remaining golden dragon battle droids that come in charging from War Hawk's back and sides.
While still in the Phoenix State, War Hawk quickly and effectively demolishes every revived battle droid to the point that Rainer would be unable to revive the droids. They're shredded, burnt, and smashed as if they were made of tin cans.
Seeing this firsthand causes Rainer to rethink his method of attack and avoid risking the numbers advantage he has against War Hawk.
While thinking of his next move, Rainer hears a blast from Supremeo's star cannon fire off next to him causing War Hawk to block the blast with his blades. He looks back at the droid releasing this fuming stream of energy and he hears Supremeo yelling at him. The aiutu tells him, "We have to keep War Hawk's offensive and defensive skills on high alert. Any loss in momentum could result in the bomb's countdown to start! I've figured out the bomb must be implanted in War Hawk's chest, because of how protected the area is. It's formed from 2 of the most powerful metal alloys known to mankind. This process of alloying has created a metal so powerful that even my star cannon cannot pierce it! And the center gemstone not having a primary ability for an attack makes me think that the bomb must be placed there. The center gemstone is most likely a release point for the bomb. If I can break it and remove the bomb I can probably save Victor!"
In a calm tone, Rainer asks, "Do you think Victor would really want to be saved. Especially if he's like this?" Supremeo replies to Rainer saying, "My memories of Victor tell me if there's a chance at redemption he'd take it. And my so-called artificial feelings only allow killing as a last resort." Rainer knows the last statement was directed back towards him, but concentrates on the bigger mission at hand.
He replied to the aiutu battle droid saying, "I'd like another chance to talk with Victor, Let's work on deactivating that bomb then."
Unfortunately by the time Rainer agrees to work with Supremeo War Hawk's blades manage to overcome the overwhelming pressure from Supremeo's star cannon blast. The battle droid manages to knock the blast away. Then War Hawk charges in swinging his duel blades, but misses Supremeo, and the 2nd blade is blocked by none other than Zachary who stands tall and firm in front of Rainer! Zachary's new inekium armor breaks the sword apart. However, the flames from the blade still singe Zach's armor, blinding him for a moment. War Hawk swiftly retaliates with a kick delivered to Zach's chest. This knocks both him and Rainer off their feet as they fall crashing through the battlefield, and they're caught by Ryan and Erik.
Ryan sets Rainer on his feet then tells him, "Let's stick to long-distance attacks my friend." Rainer nods then unleashes a powerful blast of electricity from his fists right at War Hawk.
The battle droid blocks the attack with his blade but then surprisingly to both Rainer and Supremeo, War Hawk's arm is being held in place. Supremeo tells Rainer, "The electrical current running through your body has a magnetic pull when it comes in contact with zhekumium." Rainer surprised at his own discovered ability thinks to himself, "Amazing I didn't know I could do this. But it makes sense, when I was striking down Amaro earlier. He still had zhekumium-plated legging armor on. When the current flows out of my body like a thread. I'm able to revive zhekumium droids and puppet them. But when my intentions are to deliver a crushing attacking force im able to paralyze and pin down an enemy in Zhekumium armor. One technique is a "flexing current" I weave through these droids like a surgeon pinning needles of voltage to jumpstart their gears so I can make them march to my command. The other is a "crushing force" that pins down my target. No threads, no needles, no wire tapping just good old blunt force!"
Rainer spreads his "crushing force" current to War Hawk's whole body. He looks to Supremeo then says, "Okay do your thing!" Supremeo nods then begins to charge another energy blast from its star cannons. As the aiutu is about to release the blast. He can hear Rainer struggling to maintain a grip on War Hawk.
He hears Rainer saying, "Dammit! Its whole body isn't made from zhekumium! I can feel its skeleton fighting against me!" Supremeo instantly remembers the captured aiutu's after Elias's death then tells himself, "Right! The inekium from those aiutu's after Elias's final fight are also a part of this droid's body!"
War Hawk drops its blade. The zhekumium armor begins to crack, revealing traces of inekium metal underneath. Supremeo launches his star cannon blast towards War Hawk's legs only for War Hawk to break free at the last second. The battle droid swipes at the energy beam with its talons drawn. The energy is absorbed within its claw.
Then with a slight sense of doubt in both Supremo and Rainer's eyes they see War Hawk throw the energy back at Supremeo knocking him away. The aiutu skids through the battlefield and his meteor mode begins to burn out as he's temporarily knocked unconscious when the blast fades. The battle droid then swiftly kicks Rainer Knocking him through the battlefield. His armor begins to crack as his body skips and bounces through the floors of the battlefield.
War Hawk grabs the lone soldier and then draws its claws. Then slightly tossed Rainer into the air and readied itself for a killing blow. Until War Hawk finds his hand with the talons drawn trapped in Melina's whip. War Hawk looks to his side and sees the pirate Queen and King of the other half of the faction, her brother Erik both holding down the battle droid's arm.
Zachary catches Rainer and moves him out of harm's way. The lone soldier says, "No! Don't take me away! I can help hold him down!" Zachary listens to Rainer since he's an elder soldier and his superior in terms of rank. Rainer instantly launches a crushing current attack aimed at War Hawk's other half of his body, which isn't being held down by the pirate leaders. Once again the droid is pinned down.
Then from all angles, the remaining revived golden dragon battle droids come in to help hold down War Hawk. The dragons grip War Hawk's legs. They hang onto his arms they even rush to help Queen Melina and her brother hold down the whip.
Rainer starts to feel a strain in his attack again. The lone soldier can feel what he calls the "inekium skeleton" of War Hawk beginning to move slowly. Just when Rainer feels War Hawk is on the verge of escaping, Ryan and Dominic come through flying on high-tech armed motorcycles. They circle War Hawk unloading ammunition on the empty spaces where none of their comrades are holding down the battle droid. More of the zhekumium armored plating chips and breaks off. Ryan and Dominic park their armed bikes in front of the War Hawk and continue to fire off shots from their vehicles and now their weapons as well.
War Hawk's body begins to glow in a violent aura. The onslaught of attacks is pushing his "Phoenix State" ability to its full potential. Ryan and Dominic continue to shoot off shots until a chunk of zhekumium plating chips off around War Hawk's shoulder. This reveals the inekium metal that's underneath and it shocks Ryan. That's because the inekium isn't fully covering the battle droid, and it's exposing parts of its "skeleton". Ryan is confused at first then instantly remembers why portions of War Hawk's structure aren't fully protected. He remembers Elias's death and how aiutu's were taken from the battle. And it simply came down to this. There wasn't enough inekium to fully cover the structure. Which is why the invasion of the pirate nation had to happen. It was for the chunk of inekium in their lands. He continued to break down that they already had access to tech in Edenn that helped shape the inekium alloy which is what most likely helped them complete the current structure of War Hawk. All they needed next was more of the alloy."
Ryan instantly relays this to his companions. Rainer replies saying, "All that's great to know. Now what's left is to break down the center chest plate of armor. Supremeo was saying the torso has been reinforced with both alloys making it extremely tough to break open. I believe once we do that we can cause serious damage. And all we did was knock off a little piece of the shoulder armor. And that looks like all we're gonna do because he's setting himself up for another attack!"
War Hawk's Phoenix State burns off the battle droids hanging onto him. And the technique also melts off any weapons holding him down. Ryan and Dominic continue their attack while facing the battle droid. Rainer's grip begins to slip. The lone soldier screams out in pain. then says out loud, "I won't be able to hold him in place much longer! We're gonna need some help!"
The floor surrounding the War Hawk battle droid begins to ignite in flames around him. This causes Melina, Erik, and Zachary to step further away from the battle droid to get away from the emerging flames. Just when War Hawk takes its first few steps forward while still in Rainer's grip. Supremeo comes storming in from above their heads while charged up in meteor mode once again. He lets off a few shots from his star cannon, this knocked war Hawk off its feet. As he regains balance, to everyone's shock but Supremeo. War Hawk is suddenly lifted off its feet. That's because Supremeo straps his evasive jet pack 2 to War Hawk. Lifting his foe stops the burning of the battlefield. Supremeo keeps War Hawk in front of him while he watches the battle droid try to get the vehicle off of its back.
While he's distracted Supremeo hits War Hawk with a star cannon blast. This is followed by Ryan and Dominic firing their shots off at War Hawk as well. They both followed Supremeo by hopping back onto their high-tech armed motorcycles. Through comms Ryan tells Supremeo, "Rainer passed out. Zachary stayed behind to make sure he's okay." Supremeo replies, "That's great. Zach is strong enough to make sure he can help everyone else make it to a safe distance from here, especially in that new suit of armor."
Ryan confused by this statement says, "Safe distance? He's willing to help in this fight Supremeo, just like Dominic and me. And we don't even have a high-tech suit of armor made of inekium!"
Supremeo says, "Yeah I know you're all willing to help end this fight. I'm just thinking I can't have deaths on my end anymore. It should be him and me, droid vs droid, or half droid, with Victor being underneath the mask. I was made for situations like this."
Before Supremeo can continue talking. Ryan interrupts saying, "Nah! Respectfully I disagree. Sure you were made for situations like this, but we TRAINED for situations like this. A soldier like me and a general like Dominic accept that we might lose our lives in battle, if it means protecting our people. The same way you as a droid have accepted that. So have we. So whether you like it or not. We're seeing the end of this battle with you!"
Supremeo smiles to himself as if he's glad he isn't alone in this fight then says, "Very well. Let's protect our people."
