Sitting on the floor in a sparse one-room apartment

Beside all of you, cramped, with barely any space

You're all here and I can hear you laughing

In all the World Tree this is the best place

The point of life is friendship

The point of life is each other

I don't want a fancy anything

I just want to be around people who want me

Keep the gold plates, keep the rubies

Keep the fantasy clothes and the tapestries

Just give me people to laugh with

And cry and rant and scream with

Just give me people to talk with

And sing and dance badly and whisper with

And I don't care if we're off key
