I just wanted to take a peaceful walk and clear my head. As I walked, I had an eerie feeling that the forest wanted me dead.

I walk farther under the wet green canopy; it seems I can hear whispering of someone saying, I want you dead.

As I take each step one in front of the other I can hear the leaves and sticks crunch beneath my feet right after another.

It's very oddly quiet, not a bird nor a chipmunk can be heard. The wind doesn't seem to play its normal serenade, one string at a time, but nothing can be heard.

I swear I can see glowing yellow eyes watching me. I swear I can hear someone say, 'You have nothing to live for.'

In my peripheral, I see shadows racing behind the trees. I can still smell the rain and the coat of dampness covering everything.
