Ever since Zoya signed the divorce papers two weeks ago, She has been staying at home sitting, eating and sleeping the day off repeatedly.
Last week Zoya decided to go to the hospital because she kept feeling uncomfortable in her stomach, it was then that she found that she was three weeks pregnant, after a numerous failed IVF attempts to get pregnant.
Her Ex husband's grandmother had been furious about the news of the divorce, Zoya pleaded with her to keep the news from her parents, she also refused her help to interfere in settling whatever caused the misunderstanding between them.
She never expected that the home she thought brought her peace will be the cause of her pain, Zoya couldn't help but think that maybe if Logan was aware she is carrying his baby, they could come together again.
She stared at her phone for the nth time, twisting her lips tightly. What on earth possessed Logan to be mean? She couldn't figure that out, all she knows is, now she has more than enough to say to him than looking at the phone doing nothing.
Suddenly her maid walked in through the mahogany door, Zoya pointed to the jotted note and cash on the table, signaling to her to come back early.
Immediately her maid Sandy left, she heard a deep feminine voice say hello into the phone she was holding. She panicked and before you know it, she was hiccuping, she doesn't remember dialing his number at all. She must have accidentally hit the dial button when she was distracted instructing Sandy on what to do.
Hello the voice on the opposite side spoke again, this time with anger.
H-h-hello she faintly replied but it was too late as the receiver already ended the call.
How in God's name did she make such a mistake? She couldn't breathe and it looked like the world was coming to an end.
Is this how people feel whenever they dial the right number at the wrong time? She pulled her bare legs to her chest, her arms tighter around her legs, she was not going to cry.
She felt stupid for keeping quiet, Zoya thought she was confident and ready to face him until she went mute. Logan hasn't been picking her calls nor reading her messages on whatsapp and instagram, that must have been the reason she panicked when she suddenly got a response.
Zoya was not accustomed to living alone without him but, she was painfully glad he hadn't block her yet from viewing his timeline.
