"Lily, protect the twins," James shouted at Lily as he takes out his wand, "I'll try to hold him off!" With that Lily ran to the room where the twins were at.
"Harry, promise me that you will protect your sister," Lily said, as tears fell down. James scream could be heard at downstairs. Lily turned her head before looking back at the twin. "I love you both. Harry, Everly, I love you. Mama loves you a lot," Lily cried. That was the moment when he came.
"Step aside. I will not need to kill you if you just let me have the boy," The Dark Lord said.
"Over my hot dead body," Lily said, as she shields herself in between the dark lord and the twins. He chuckled as he waved his wand and green light emits out. Lily's scream could be heard as the curse hits her. Everly stares at her mother, dead on the floor. Harry's eyes had tears coming out. The dark lord tries to do the curse again but couldn't. He cursed under his breathe as it got block. He stood up and quickly saw Everly. He picked up her and stared at her. He smirks as he takes his wand. Something emits out of his wand as he does something. He then placed Everly back beside Harry before running off.
A few moments later, a huge guy came in.
"Oh Harry and Everly," He sobs, "It is okay now. We are going to bring you to a safe place.' With that, he took both the twins to Pivet drive. Over there, there were two people. One in a crescent moon spectacle and another in a very greeny dress.
"Ah Hagrid. How are they? The twins?" Dumbledore asked.
"Very well, sir. Picked them before the muggles started swarming around the house," Hagrid said. Suddenly, another guy came.
"Where is the girl," He said coldly. Dumbledore quickly showed him the girl.
"Severus, you can't take the girl. She needs to be with her brother," Dumbledore says.
"I know," Snape answered as he caressed her hair, "Make me her guardian. I cannot trust the muggles to take care of her."
"You will see her when she is at Hogwarts in 10 years time," McGonagall said.
"She is right. She now needs to be with her brother," Dumbledore said.
"Fine," Snape said as he touches the scar on her neck before taking a step back. Dumbledore then placed the twins on the door steps of the Dursleys house before the 4 people left the streets. Little did the twins know what was coming...
