I woke up to the sun shining in through my windows, I groaned and rolled out of bed to go close the window. I’m not really a morning person, and I hate the sun, well in the morning I hate the sun. I closed the curtains and went to the closet to get some clothes. I got my black skinny jeans and a pink crop top, then hopped in the shower and let the water wash away everything. When I was finished I got out and put on my clothes. I put my hair in a bun, then grabbed my sunglasses and purse. As I was making my way down the stairs the doorbell rang. ‘Who would ring my doorbell, I just got here yesterday?’ I walked to the door and saw a note stuck to it. It read “Hey sis, morning. I had to go do somethings but, I meet the neighbors and they said they were going to come over later to meet you. Don’t worry there nice, have a great day, I’ll be home at 4:00 bye.’ Ugh, why did he have to leave? ‘Great, a whole day by myself’ I thought. The doorbell rang again, I had almost forgot to open it. I opened the door and saw a pretty girl who looked about my age. But most people call me Lilly, I’m your neighbor, I live right next to you. Wait you probably already knew that since I said I was your neighbor. Anyway, your brother said I should come over and introduce myself so… hi, sorry I tend to be a blabbermouth at times” She put out her hand for me to shake. She seemed nice but considering my experience with my other school, it takes a lot to gain my trust. “Hi, I’m Katniss Everdeen, but you can call me Kat, Kit Kat, Katerina, or Nessie. Come on in.” I said well opening the door, I tend to also be a blabbermouth so, the fact that she was one to, is a good thing. She walk in and took a seat on the couch. “Can I get you some water, or anything?” I asked. “No thanks, but I was wondering if we could go shopping?” she asked, I immediately looked up and smiled, I love shopping. It’s the one time I feel free. So of course I said yes. “Yes, let’s go now, I love shopping.” She smiled and shot up off the couch, we walked out the door, after I locked the door, I started to walk to her car. I stopped for a second and looked around, it felt like someone was watching me, but I didn’t see anyone so I hopped in the car forgetting about that feeling. “Alright, lets goo.” She shouted and put on some music. I laughed and started singing along to the song “Roar by Katy Perry.” (Yeah I know it’s an old song, just deal with it) We were singing all the way to the store. Once we got there, we hopped out of the car and walked into the mall. “Let’s go to Hot Topic.” I said pointing to the store near the food court. “Really, you like Hot Topic, because I wouldn’t take you as that type of girl. You know badass.” She said. I laughed because she looked kind of scared. “Just because I like Hot Topic doesn’t mean I’m badass” I said starting to walk to the store, but got pulled to a stop. “No we can’t go in there.” She said looking at the store with fear in her eyes. “Lilly, the store is not bad, let’s go.” I said trying to pull out of her grip, damn this girl is strong. “No, not the store, the people in it. That’s the Famous Five” I looked in the store then back at her. “The Famous What?” I asked looking confused as ever. “Famous Five, there the most popular guys in school, they could ruin your reputation in a second. If we go in there and they recognize me, who knows what will happen.” She looked really worried, but I didn’t want to leave without going to Hot Topic. Ugh, what to do? What to do? “Hey, how bout, I go in the store well, you go to someplace else. That way I can still get something from Hot Topic. They won’t recognize me, since I’m new.” I said with a smile on my face, she looked kind of nervous but said ‘okay’ and walked off to Forever 21. I made my way into Hot Topic and stayed as far away from the guys as possible. I was looking at the belts when I felt a presence behind me, I turned and came face to face with one of the guys that Lilly said stay away from. “Hey beautiful, what’s your name?” He asked well putting an arm around my waist. “Why would I tell you?” I asked well taking his arm off of me and starting to walk away. “Ah, feisty. I like you, the names Michal but you can call me Mikey.” He said following me, I looked at his friends to see they are looking at us. I roll my eyes and turn to face him. “I won’t be calling you anything because, this is the last time I’m going to talk to you so, bye Monkey.” I said and started walking out the door. I heard his friends laughing at him. “It’s Mikey” He shouted to me before I left. I was so mad, I didn’t even get to buy anything. I angrily walked into Forever 21 and spotted Lilly walking towards me with two bags of clothes. I calmed down and walked up to her. “Hey” I said, she looked up at me and gave me a confused look. “Where are your bags, didn’t you get anything from Hot Topic?” she asked. “Oh, I had a little encounter with one of the Famous Five and ended up leaving without anything.” I said like it was no big deal. She looked at me with wide eyes. “Omg, are you ok. I swear if they laid a finger on you, I will rip their hearts out.” She says angrily, I looked at her like she was crazy and told her what happened. It was kind of funny watching her reaction. First she gasped, then she got mad, then she started laughing. I swear this girl is bipolar. After we shopped some more we went to the food court, we got burgers, fries, and sodas. Yeah, unhealthy I know, but I don’t get fat easily, it’s weird but I just don’t. When we finished eating, we got in the car and drove home. When we got there it was 4:30, time flies when you’re having fun. That means Josh would be home. I said bye to Lilly and wobbled to the house since I was carrying so many bags. I stopped at the front door fiddling with my keys. I got that same feeling as I did before like someone was watching me, I turned around but, nothing was there. I went back to opening the door and finally got it open. “Josh, I’m home” I said closing the door behind me. I looked up and saw Josh coming downstairs in his boxers. “Hey KitKat, do you need help with the bags?” He asked taking a bag out of my hands. “Yeah, thanks” I said, we brought them to my room and I started putting them in the closet. Josh asked me about my day so I told him, but when I got to the part about Mikey he started to get mad. “If he touches you again, I will murder him” he said angrily, his eyes turned from brown to dark black.  I walked over to him and pulled him in a hug. “Josh, it’s alright, first of all I took care of it, and second of all Lilly already has the job of murdering him.” I said in a sweet voice with a smile on my face.
