... I’m Imagining I’m sitting in a Victorian-style bathtub looking out into the ocean, ah yes. It's almost like all my pain is dissolving. I lit some candles and pour a tall glass of angry orchard cider. I’m five again ... Bubble gum-scented bubble bath and I’m creating bubble hats and bubble beards and monster castles to splash. I’m smelling October air, dewy morning grass, sharpened pencils, warm sand between my toes, and puppy kisses. The vibration changes and I’m hearing rain hitting the roof and see it dripping down the window. Putting on some warm socks out of the dryer. It’s not too long before I can smell the aroma of French vanilla coffee all through the house. It’s sunny out and I can hear chirping” what would life be like without birds?”
boring and silent.
The sun is going down, I’m sitting on a deck laughing and reminiscing with a friend as I roast some marshmallows waiting for the sides to go a bit charcoal and the middle to show a hint of golden brown. A guitar is playing. I notice the flowers, yellows, purples, reds, oranges and blues.
I’m putting on a polka dot dress and dancing the night away.
Rolling in a blanket counting stars
Poof I'm 10 again.
