我主張文學就是應用語言學，那麼「應用」如何拆解呢？直接給結果：

應需求之能用，應需求之所用。

這就是推敲字義的功夫。應，就是因應；用，使用。因應什麼而使用就發現受詞沒出現，當然就是因為需求囉！

這也是一種逆向文言文的爛招，不過解析過程才是重點。
