先來談談這個名字的由來，以及這本書裡面會放內容是什麼樣的文字。

首先《銀色的大象》只不過是來自我哥哥從泰國買回來的一本筆記本的封面。上頭有一個用金屬物鍍上去的銀色標誌，兩隻從平面立體而出的大象相對而坐，伸長牠們的鼻子，彷彿能聽見來自異國的叫喚。我對於這本書喜愛萬分，便將它作為日常筆記本使用，當有一些奇奇怪怪的想法時，便打開筆記本，逐一將腦中的天馬行空記錄下來。

而這本散文，就像是另類的日記一樣，不會記錄每天的生活，卻會記錄生活的感動以及對自身、他人的提問。

散文是什麼？我其實不是很清楚，但我還是想以散文的方式，把它們記錄在這裡。
