Well, tonight I'm watching it again with a tub of Ben and Jerrys chocolate ice cream in my hands. And tonight, I'm the only one home. Mom and dad went to my sisters volleyball game while I pretended to be sick. I know, so lame right? What kind of older brother does that make me?
Oh, hold on a second, I think I hear them upstairs. That's odd, they home early. I'm gonna go check on this quickly. I'm leaving the nest of blankets on my bed and I'm walking out of my room.
"Hello? Mom? Dad? Are you home already?" I call out to them.
I walk upstairs and the lights are still off.
"Huh...maybe I just imagined it," I mutter to myself.
I turn around and scream. There's some dude standing in front of me with a mask on. Hold up, are those Doc Marttens that he's wearing?
"Oh my god, I totally love your sneakers," I compliment.
The dude in the mask looks down at his feet.
"Oh, thanks man. My girl got them for me," he replies through the mask.
"She's got good taste. Hey! What're you doing in my house?" I ask.
"Isnt it obvious? I'm robbing it," he replies.
Ah hell no! There is no way in hell that a dude in a tacky cliched black mask is taking any of our stuff.
"But first, I'm going to kill you," The dude replies.
He pulls out a big scary knife and I scream like a little girl, running off before he can kill me. I hear him run after me. Where can I hide? Where can I hide?
I run back downstairs and in to my room, cowering under the covers. I'm scared. I've never been this scared in my life. Someone is in my house. Someone is trying to kill me. Oh my god, oh my god, what do I do?
The dark house creaks and I wrap myself in my blanket as I make my way over to my closet. I open it to grab my baseball bat. Okay...I'll just hit the guy over the head and then run out of the house. That should be simple...right?
Blanket wrapped around me and baseball in one hand, I sneak my way out of my room and to where the robber is. I gulp down harshly. Like no big deal or anything, but I can totally take this guy down...right? I find him in my parents room, rifling through their things. Oh hell no...not moms mink coat!
"Yo! Buddy!" I call out.
But when he turns around, he's not human. No...whatever this was, was big and scary. With giant red eyes, clamp like fangs and a nasty smell, I scream in fear at what I see. What the hell is this thing?
I swing my bat at it, only for it to break in half, one chunk flying in the opposite direction. I scream again and try to run away. It smacks me down and clamps on to my leg. I scream again, feeling the pain that shoots up.
"Yo buddy, you scream like a little French school girl," I hear from behind me.
I turn around and that robber dude is holding on to my leg. But...wasn't there a big nasty creature just in front of me?
"Wha...what happened? There was a big ass scary bug or something in here," I blubber in fear.
"Oh that? It's just my true form. Now if you don't mind, I'm going to kill you now, okay?" The robber asks.
I don't have time to reply as he transforms back in to his hideously true form and he comes at me.
