Silver flooded into my eyes as I opened them. I realised it was the moon. But it was broken, shattered like glass. The black sky was starless, like an infinite void. Turning my head, I saw gold and blue, flowing as far as I could see. Tiny grains in my hand, I looked at the blue specks mixed inside. A river flowed to my right, but something was wrong. It was in the air, curling round the large trees. A jungle, deep greens on leaves. Red trunks, bolder than flames dancing to an invisible song. Vines snaked, alive. Wrapped round me, and black once again.
