The prince took his rightful place on the throne as Nappa sat on a seat right beside, displaying a sense of authority. Kakarot and Raditz took a seat on a more mundane section, next to the Colonel in command of the Tuffle army.

Raditz rushed to the battlefield in hopes to get in on the fun. Kakarot observed his fellow saiyans, watching how they fought. The prince made light work of the toughest of creatures, mercilessly ending their lives with single and swift blows. A smile overtook his face with every victory. Kakarot clenched his fists, fighting his urge. The unsuspecting saiyan was caught by a sudden blow to his face. The punch sent him to the floor. He snapped into action and returned the attack, knocking his opponent into another Tatsu, stumbling them both over. They caught their balance and set their targets on Kakarot. Without hesitation, they rushed the novice saiyan simultaneously. Kakarot struggled to fend them off, taking blows left and right from both. One of the creatures punched his gut, staggering the saiyan. His arms fell loose. His blood began to pump again, faster than before. A rush of adrenaline took over his body. He used the opportunity to catch and hold the creature's arm down and countered him with a powerful headbutt. He followed it up with a ki blast that blew the creature into pieces. He dashed to the other enemy, striking the bottom of his jaw with the palm of his hand and used the opening punch a hole through his chest. He immediately set his sight on more nearby opponents as the options were seemingly endless. He jumped into a hoard of the violent species and fought every single one at once. He took multiple blows in the process but returned just as much. Guilt, regret, love, hate, anger, all sense of emotion had lost its meaning, all but one, the overwhelming sense of excitement. He took blows from different angles all at once, the damage didn't slow him down as he leapt into the air and shot a ki blast that created an explosion which blew away a chunk of the hoard. One of them jumped out from behind, preparing a devastating attack. His efforts were intercepted by Vegeta who chopped his arm off and kicked him away. Kakarot turned around, realizing the prince had just saved him from potential danger.

Modora took the chance to commence an assault of his own. Kakarot fended off the attacks but the pressure was leaving no opening for a counter attack. Modora bypassed his guard and caught Kakarot with a few blows before being knocking him away with a blast of fire from Modora's chest. Kakarot rushed back into action, confronting the dragon once again. They traded a blow, knocking blood out of each other. They continued their slugfest, receiving and delivering attacks to one another, nonstop.
