Amaterazu shot towards Goku, erasing the distance between them at a blinding speed. He commenced his attack with a swift punch which Goku managed to block with his forearm. It wouldn't take long for Goku to notice Amaterazu's flames burning through his own surging heat, leaving his mark on Goku's arm once again. His body didn't wait for his thoughts to catch up and struck Amaterazu with an uppercut to his ribs. Goku dropped to the ground and raised himself with his arm to follow up with a kick straight to Amaterazu's chin. The blow tossed the divine dragon into the air. Goku continued his assault, striking Amaterazu with multiple shockwaves at once, all coming from his fists. Amaterazu was launched further into the air. Goku made no waste of time and rapidly approached the airborne Amaterazu. He prepared another kick but was caught by surprise as he found himself entangled in chains of fire.

Amaterazu tightened the grasp of his chains on Goku. He fell victim to their heat as he had once before. The sun god viciously swung the chain, smashing Goku into the ground. He raised the chain, tossing Goku into the air, leaving him bound by the chain. Amaterazu flung himself towards the restrained Goku, his body was suddenly engulfed with fire as he prepared a kick right before impact. Amaterazu crashed into the saiyan with his powerful kick, smashing the chains to bits and slamming Goku into what was left of the ground. The determined warrior struggled to ascend back into the fight.

Vegeta instantly caught on to Goku's strategy and aided his ally. He tossed a small sphere of ki at Amaterazu's face.
