There's no way to describe how lucky I am to get a second chance to live my life as happy as I want. I always remember how my previous life at this moment. I would sit in my room and just dreaming of the impossible things.
But when I lead a second chance, I have already planned every single day of my life so to not waste it like before. That is why, I will always try to live my life as positive as I can. And to do so, it's none other than to spread love everywhere you go.
"It's been a while since you come here. You must be so busy." Mary, the nurse at Flower Old Folks House (FOFH).
"Yes, I've been a bit busy these past few weeks. Luckily, today I am a bit free. So, I'm here to help you guys."
I reply while arranging the plate and catering stuffs on the long table. Usually, at least 4 times a month, I will come here and spend some time with the folks that reside here. Giving them meals and chit chatting with them.
I need to do this to make myself feel happy. All of the residents here are very nice too. They treat me like their own grandson. Also, in my previous life, I had a grandmom who is caring and cute. Spending time with them let my longing for her love treated the least.
"You should get some rest on your free time. Don't have to worry about us so much." Mary says with a wide smile.
She helps me while we chit chatting.

We laugh together at that.
"Grandma Nunde is always like that. How is she with her issue? Last time I heard, she asked for CCTV because her stuffs keep missing."
"She already over that. She said she doesn't even notice any more if she had the stuff in the first place or not."
I shake my head with laughter. Grandma Nunde is cute. She always tries to tell me her stories when she was young. And all her stories were actually interesting too. She reminds me a lot of my grandmom.
"Okay, let serves them their meals. Can you call them, P'Mary?"
Mary nods then walk to the exit door.
I stand there with Mary until all the residents get their meal. It was such a happy feeling when you get to do something nice for other people.
"Navy, Grandma Nunde asked for you. She wouldn't eat if you didn't come and accompany her. You should go. I will clean all these mess with other staff." Mary says to me with a smile.
I nod and say thank you before walking towards Grandma Nunde. Then, I sit in front of her. The 78-year-old lady seems sulky. Her face a bit sad.
"Grandma, why won't you eat?" I ask with a gentle voice.
She didn't even look at me. Her sulky makes me smile.
"Nunde, you should eat by your own. Why making things hard for Navy?" Grandpa Rick, who sits next to her voicing out his frustration.
"It's okay grandpa. Maybe grandma wants me to feed her? Am I right?" I try to persuade her with jokes.
She only glares at Grandpa Rick.
"You don't have to worry about her, Navy. When you're not around, she can eat on her own."
I laugh a bit.
"Are you mad at me? Because I didn't come here for quite long time already?" I try to persuade her again.
She still keeps her silent.
"Okay, I am sorry. I'm so busy these days. But I will try to come and visit you and other people whenever I have the time. I promise you."
She looks at me with a sad eye.
"Promise?" She asks me with a low voice.
"I promise you."
I put my pinky finger on her and make the promise. She starts to smile and laugh a bit.
"Now, you're smiling." Grandpa Rick says with a laugh.
"Why so busybody? Mind your own business." Grandma Nunde says snarkly.
I laugh at grandpa surprise reaction.
"Where is your friend? He didn't come today?" grandma Nunde ask me calmly.
"He's busier than me. If he had the time, I would ask him to come with me. Why are you asking for him? Do you prefer him over me?" I try to tease her.
"No. I just asking this question because you guys look close together. Is he your best friend?"
"Yes, we are very close."
Then I smile to her. I still remember the first time I met her here. It was 3 years ago when I started to do this service. She was so hard to get close too. She always sits alone and staring blankly outside through the window.
Mary said she missed her family so much. But her son and daughter abandon her here to go oversea. She hasn't received any calls from them since they put her here. So, I started to get close to her. It was a slow process but look where we are right now. She is cute the more I get to know her.
