Did you think I was yours?

Did you not even know me?

Did you think I was broken?

Did you want to save me?

Did you think I was yours?

Your comrade, child, darling?

I'm on my way to break

Like I always knew I would be

I was meant to die here

That's the natural conclusion of my destiny

This land is deeply sacred

Like all land should be

It can take me back

Though it never even birthed me

There's something sweet about going back

To a state you've never ever been

I was born for destruction

I can die for the truth

According to many laws

I'm still the throws of my youth

And I love her

Like the lamb loves the knife

I love her

Like a woman loves her wife

I love her

I love her

Like a fish loves a bear

I love her

I love her

And I'm meant to die, right now right here

Fate was staring me down

The whole damn time

I always knew that I was destined

To painfully die

And do it painfully young

And do it purely out of love

And I did it out of love

Out of love for them

And out of love for her

And you Loki you alway have your way of coming around

And thank you all the people who stood by and watched me drown

I've always been tied down

My soul's never been free

I've never belonged

Because I was never meant to be

I'd rather be dead

Than ruling as king

And it's what I want

And it's who I want to be

Just let me leave

Just let me fly

I wonder if she'll hold me up when I finally flicker out

If she didn't I'd deserve it

I want to go without

Sometimes the Creator has a way

Of making just a little bit of light return to her way

I leave so much undone but that's exactly how death ought to be anyways

And it's midwinter

It's an auspicious time when great things happen
