You stand in the corner

Visibly dissociating

Smile broken an submissive

Girl, lanky and thin

You stand in the corner

Weary and treading

Carefully forming words

Eyes cautious and and grim

When I look at the stars I see you. When I look at the moon it's your face.

When I ask God for guidance They make me remember your name.

When I look at the clouds I see you.

And the wind on the ocean's your grace.

You and my salvation and destiny are one and the same.
