小良是一個天真活潑的小學生，他很喜歡畫畫，可惜他的家人和朋友都不欣賞他所繪畫的畫作。他的家人經常對他說：畫畫是沒用的，長大後很難找到工作；就算找到工作，薪金方面都不會理想，最終是不能照顧和養活自己的；他的朋友經常取笑他，說他繪畫的畫很難看，又笑他根本不懂得畫畫。
