The first person who fell in love with me

Without a shred of doubt about who I am.

My ride or die

The one whose death left a gap in my life

As I seek him in every man who comes my way

Oh, Death! Why are you so cold-hearted? 

Why did you take him away from me?

 I have been struggling with this pain for over 23 years.

The memories of you long gone make me teary

Because I can not recall your face 

But the joy of knowing you are resting and not in pain

Heals my broken-hearted wounds 

   Rest in peace, Daddy.
