活屍香江壹始於2009年，當時我在瀏覽高登討論區講故台的喪屍故時，數目雖多，但一個也不合我的口味，見工作有空閒，便敲起鍵盤試試看，誰不知在亂寫亂作下，活屍香江壹竟是全系列之中人氣最高及最受歡迎的。

『壹』是有意思的，是第一位主角，故事劇情比較真實現實、有血有肉，而地點亦是大家熟識的旺角，投入感高。
