I still felt off, so I reluctantly took out my lavender colored head phones and tried to focus on finishing my latte but I noticed someone walking towards me. " Hey, mind if I sit here?"
I turned around to the sound of the voice. The person who spoke was around six feet tall and was wearing a black leather jacket over a purple tinted grey t-shirt and some jeans. He was also wearing a pair of combat boots which pulled the look together. What really caught my attention though was his eyes. They were golden, but not like gold. They were like the color of the sky when the sun barely peaks over the horizon. I kept looking at him for what felt like hours though I know was only a matter minutes "Of course not, take a seat," I said, while I felt my face reddening because I came to the relization that I was staring. The man took the invitation and gracefully slid into the chair across from me with only a little bit of hesitation.
About five awkward minutes of silence had passed. I took my eyes off of my half drunken latte and moved them back to the man. He seemed lost in his thoughts so I decided to try and start a conversation. "So, what brings you here?" I asked in a tone that meant I wanted to listen to anything he was going to say.
