I woke up as the sun rose. “Hey Skya….” I looked at where she had gone to sleep. And she was gone. She left most of her close which was weird. “Skya! Where are you?” I stopped cold staring down at the beads and string that had been my sister’s bracelet. That was when I realized Skya hadn’t left me she had been taken. I sprinted out of the house knowing it was probably too late to find her. Then I notices little scraps of white cloth just like the cloth her night shirt was made of. Yes! Skya left me a trail. I swore I would find her. I would not lose her like I had years ago. I was not the same helpless little boy my sister had known. This city sucks the innocence out of you, it makes you hard…..
