An emotionless face

Another human gone to waste

"Is it normal to feel this way?"

"Am I okay?"

Not knowing how to feel about certain things

You just heard good new and they say "You should be happy"

A lifeless smile appears across your face

But deep down you feel crappy

And you don't know why

Wondering if there's something wrong with you or if you're just depressed

You often say "I love you too"

Not really knowing if you actually do

Saying it back so they don't feel bad

A knot in your stomach begins to form

A pit of guilt

Which destroys the foundation that you built

The foundation of the fake faces and the fake emotions

"Where did I go wrong"

"Where was the mistake"

So fed up with everything

It's to the point where you want to runaway

Pieces of you falling apart

Beginning to break

Internally crumbling like a burning building

Just an empty heart that needs filling and proper rebuilding
