以前寫過三本有關本地足球的書，一本是2019年的港超5週年(2014-2019)，一本是羅神退出香港球壇時寫的8年南華回顧(2006-2014)，一本是12/13港超回顧。還有寫過幾篇冰河時期的回顧，一直以來都想將2001年至2014年香港足球由冰河時期走進中興時期再到高峰回落的故事整理好寫出來，希望今次會成功，適逢今次流浪足球隊繼20年後再次進入杯賽決賽，冰河時期的球場片段又再涌上心頭。
