博有博的好處，精也有精的優勢，硬要說哪個好我也說不上來，我更傾向是根據「環境」來決定。

暫且先以寫作的人物塑造來思考，這個角色如果身處於末日類型的背景，那麼他先前專精於珠寶鑑定，對於他所在的環境有任何幫助嗎？很難能夠起作用吧。

反之如果他有野外生存、醫療急救、藥草學相關知識等技能的話是不是後者會過得比前者要好不少？

當然，這個舉例是比較極端一點，其中的變數太大了，甚至再加上一些條件上述兩種情況都有可能反轉。

回到我想要說的論點，「環境」才是主因，這兩種方式本身沒有優劣之分，在不同的環境與條件下會演變出截然不同的結果。
