I sit nervously double clicking the application growing impatient with my laptop as it slowly retrieves Skype for me. My phone vibrates softly with a notification enlightening me to the username I'll shakily tap in and click call. I wait listening to a little jingle as the call takes its time to connect, what I'm sure was just mere moments felt like hours as the intrusive thoughts argued for supremacy in my mind.

"What if she doesn't answer!?"
"What if she hates what she sees!?"
"What if it never connects and she believes you never tried!?"
"What if the world ended right now?"
All of them were silenced by the calling sound ending and the slow loading of an image began. I was stuck as true beauty stared me down she covered the lower half of her face with her hand which ill find out later was because she hated her smile, a smile in my opinion that would put the sun to shame but those eyes. Those eyes had me, deep blue oceans with an icy rims pulled me deeper and deeper and I welcomed it, I saw at that moment the distance wouldn't win.
