And so, after lunch, we headed to the National Museum located near the Pier. It wasn't a surprise that the museum was filled with students since most universities started the classes this week. My friend in Junior High who went to a neighboring University started theirs last week.
As we lined up, I heard the guard said, "There's so many students! Where are the adults?"
Mind you, we're actually adults here. Not judging but most of the students looked like they're in college. Most high school students could be identified by their uniforms right away anyway.
We also met a few of our school mates there. One, I had the same class with last A.Y. and the other was our classmate during Mid Year classes.
The Museum failed to catch my excitement. It mostly displayed artifacts and paintings just as a museum formally should. Then again, what I like visiting were more of, heritage houses. Like that house that was once owned by a Spanish merchant.
At the end of our trip to the N.Museum, our legs were numb. We were tired from walking around. I mean, we did went through five halls without a break. So before we left, we sat down for a few minutes, updating the group chat that had three of my friends. It was created during the Mid Year classes.
Moon sent pics of me there and Gift, another friend of ours, replied, "Hey! You went to the Nat. Museum?!"
"Yez," I replied.
"Good for you, kids," Autumn, who acts like our mother sent the message, "Careful on your way home."
"Okay, mama." I gave a heart reaction to her message.
Gift just bombarded the chat with a few rants about how the school didn't add her to any of the virtual class platforms.
Moon just had fun with how the conversation was going.
Then, we went to the boardwalk and took pictures. A little ways ahead was one of the longest and infamous bridge in the country.
"An Architecture student really is different, huh?" Moon commented as she looks at the photos I took.
"You talk as if you're not an Archi student yourself."
"I know, but didn't you not like the course? So much fkr that," she laughed.
"Yeah but," I paused and let her words sink in before laughing it off.
I guess I'm coming to love the idea of studying architecture. But I'm still adamant in doing architecture.
I got home that day upset with how I had to stand during the whole trip back home. My legs were numbing with pain but I didn't regret it.
I don't think I'll ever regret any of my spontaneous trips. It was a craving that I always had in the past years. I'm cherishing this freedom that I have right now since I never had any when I was in high school.
