 這是愛因茲貝倫家族，在跟其他兩個家族在名為冬木的地方所創造聖杯之後。愛因茲貝倫的人造人們由於數次的聖戰都以失敗收尾，並開始在背後偷偷名為神州巿模仿聖杯系統以及不斷嘗試重視以前那"意外"並花費了幾百年，最後創造出一個低級大聖杯，其功能能否真的能通往"根源"也是個迷，更何況神州地脈的魔力遠遠不及冬木地脈魔力，所以只能每360年進行一次，其中之一的原因是為了能召喚出九個Servant能讓結束後鑿開通往根源的洞。
