After the Morizonal war then came the Dark war, this started when a mortal asked Ivanile to give them power so that they could win the war against their enemy. They could have asked the god of war for victory but they asked the goddess of dark magic for powers.
Being obligated to help the humans, she did. She gave him and his entire thousand army powers that they could use to defeat their enemies. But the power overwhelmed them, turning them into monstrous creatures that people called "Devils"
They destroyed their enemies but didn't stop there, they went forward killing other mortals, and also turning them into devils.
Ivanile saw an opportunity to seize power so she did. She was able to control the devils and she used them to make kings and emperors submit to her. She almost Conquered the world, but the Horizonians came down to fight by the sides of the mortals.
But the devils were too much and the Horizonians couldn't destroy all of them. Horon met the entity and asked him for more power so that he will be able to stop the devils.
He destroyed half of the devils but before he does the rest of them, he feared the world would already be destroyed so he trapped them in a special type of dungeon in the Horizon so that they would not escape.
The entity then forbade the Horizonians from interfering with the affairs of man unless indirectly. They must never come in contact with them, humans.
And Ivanile was banished out of the Horizon to live with the mortals she so loves. But even the mortals refused to associate themselves with her. And bit by bit she faded away from the mind of the mortals. She felt insulted and went underground to build her abode. The dark horizon.

"You see, we are the same. We've both lost something we loved, something we held dear to us" Ivanile says to Kuba who just listened attentively to all she had to say.
"I will give you powers that with it, you will be able to kill not only the mortals but even the gods. I will show you how to get to the horizon. You just have to do one thing for me when you get there"
Kuba went down to his knees in front of Ivanile. She placed her hand on his forehead and dark smoke flow out of her hand and into him. His eyes turned completely black as the dark energy flowed through his soul.
The cloth he was wearing turned to a black shining dark looking armor. His sword which was broken on the ground joined back together and turned into a black scythe. She had turned him into a devil, but not like the monstrous creatures she made million years ago. He was a perfect devil.
Kuba grabbed the scythe and rose to his feet.
"I will get you to the horizon--"
"Kuba…" a familiar voice chipped in.
He turned to see Nela. She unmounted her horse and slowly approached him.
"What have you turned into? Look around you Kuba, innocent people are dying because of you. This is not the life you wanted to live" she says, slowly approaching him.
He tilted his head to the side as he looked at her.
"You know nothing about me. Stay out of my way or I will have no choice but to kill you too" he says.
"I know everything about you. Or at least I know enough to say the Kuba I know will never hurt other people"
She noticed Ivanile behind him.
"Don't hurt the innocent lady, she doesn't have anything to do with what happened to your family…" she says, thinking Ivanile was just a normal citizen Kuba was trying to kill.
"There's still hope for you Kuba… drop your weapon and repent--" before she could finish, he shoots a ball of black flames out of his hand at her.
It hits her and sent her flying back down a cliff.
"Now then… let's get you up there," Ivanile says.

The Horizon.
Horon uneasily paced around the Horizon. He then stopped by the edge of the building.
Arey and Indeego walked up to him.
"Father, are you okay?" He queried.
"Is everything alright Horon?" Indeego asked.
He shook his head. "I'm afraid not. Kuba has--" he stopped, looking for the right words to use. "--He has disappeared. I can't find him anywhere" he finally speaks.
Indeego sighed and facepalmed. "Relax. He's probably dead, maybe he realized his mistake and took his life…"
He puts his hand up to stop her.
"No. I fear Ivanile has gotten to him. Maybe I should have done something earlier. I'm going down to check what's happening" Horon says, before making his battle armor magically appear.
"I am coming with you…" Indeego says.
"No" he declines. "You stay here in the Horizon. Maybe tell the other gods what is going on…" he says.
