Ruth sat next to annabelle,every single day of school,but something had changed sometime in the last few weeks,ruth was gorgeous,and even more when she didnt notice annabelle was looking at her,boys were never really her thing,but of course she coulnt tell anybody that,or she might have ended up with one of the star stickers that soldiers had,she had wished that she never thought things like this,she could have been intrested in any other person,not any person,any BOY,but she couldnt,she loved ruth,more than she should have,more than friends loved friends,all she wanted was to be with ruth,everyday,ruth helped her keep her mind off of betty,if betty ever found out that she thought like that,she stammered in her own mind,she didnt want anything to happen to ruth,she would take the pain,she could take the pain,after betty had beat her with a stick,leaving the blue and red bruises,and the wires,she knew that she could handle whatever she would to do her if she ever did find out,but she wouldnt let her,her secret was kept in a little chest in her mind,she wanted to keep it locked and away,but it always without fail always unlock and it fled her mind flooding her normal thoughts with ruth. When she was thinking she hadn't even realized that class was over, ruth looked at her puzzled, as she was sitting blankly at the desk, she lightly tapped her on the shoulder, Annabelle flinched looking over at ruth apologizing, for “spacing out” she was lost In her thoughts about her, as always ruth and Annabelle walked home together, Annabelle walked ruth to her house, ruth inviting her inside as her mother was already aware of her staying over almost every day, she accepted it and walked in, ruth smiled as she took off her bag and coat. “So? What do you want to do?” she smiled and she turned back towards her kitchen, Annabelle followed as she rescinded with “whatever you want to do:)” ruth always knew this was what she was going to say as she made a snack for the both of them, we sat in her yard in the back of her house, I wanted to tell her what I felt, it's not that wanted to I needed to. my heart ached as she bit into the sandwich she made, she was so gorgeous doing anything,i took a deep breath,and told her what i felt.
