I wrote this last semester for a college class and just to post it here to see what y'all think. We had to write two short stories for this class and this was my first one. I tried to write realistic fiction because I typically don't read or write that genre so I wanted to challenge myself. "The Heist" is about a conservative Hispanic household. We see the family's problems through his eyes and experience a life changing moment.

If you are wondering about my other story, "Hero", I will get back to writing it. I've just been busy with school and I am starting my job tomorrow :D so I honestly don't know when I will finish it, but trust me I will...eventually. Without further ado, I hope you enjoy "The Heist".
